Trust & Safety.

This page describes the controls we operate today on Jangama Matrimony. It answers common questions from members and their families. It is app-owned editable content, not an independent certification.

Verification

Members complete phone verification before sending interests. Photo and government-ID verification are available for a free 'Verified' badge, reviewed by our team.

Family data privacy

Sensitive family fields — parents' phone, income, siblings, family notes — are hidden from other members by default. They only become visible after both sides mutually accept, and never to search engines or logged-out visitors.

Photo controls

You choose who sees your photos: everyone, verified members, or only accepted matches. Screenshot protection is on by default and can be adjusted after a fresh password confirmation.

Reports & moderation

Every profile has a Report action. Safety reports are triaged by a human moderator, typically within 24 hours. Blocking is instant and mutual — a blocked member cannot view, message or discover you.

Account safety

Passwords are checked against known-breach lists at signup. Sensitive changes (deactivation, unhiding a profile, disabling screenshot protection) require a fresh password confirmation.

Shared responsibility

We build and operate the platform, its verification workflow, and the moderation tools. Members are responsible for the accuracy of their own profile, the photos they upload, and what they share in private messages. Families should independently verify serious matches before any commitment.

Report something

If you've spotted a fake profile, harassment, or unsafe behaviour — write to safety@jangamamatrimony.com or use the Report action inside any profile. Urgent safety reports are prioritised.
